Too many!
Also, can people please help with the sideboard?
This seems like a fun Sliver deck :) Glad to see a deck that doesn't die to supreme verdict haha

Alright, so. I keep seeing this in my alerts since I commented on it months ago, and now that comments have been cleared, I guess I'll post again.
First off, let me say I've been running my own Sliver deck in standard since Theros hit, and I've faced a lot of different kinds of decks. It doesn't win against every deck, but I have a pretty good track record, so I do talk with firsthand experience here.
Boros Charm is an absolute must. Run four in the mainboard. Not only does it protect against every common spot removal card in standard (bar Devour Flesh and Detention Sphere ), there's almost no time where you won't want to draw it. Even if you've already been boardwiped, it's still four free damage. The only mode you might not use is the double strike, and even then you won't always have Bonescythes out. Plus having protection from removal is vital for Sliver decks, since they're an intricate web of buffs rather than individual beatsticks. If they knock out a Manaweft early on or a Bonescythe later, you're set back harder than most decks.
Sentinel Sliver isn't just good against aggro. It should be an easy three-of in your deck at least. Sentinel allows you to keep "mana" available in your back pocket with Manaweft out. Many times I've tapped out for a Thorncaster or an overloaded Mizzium Mortars, swung into some burn or kill spells, and tapped my already-attacking Slivers for a Boros Charm. And if nothing else, it'll let you swing with everything on your first main phase, then tap them to drop some Hive Stirrings on phase 2.
As for Chromatic Lantern , it all depends on how often you get mana screwed. Without any shocklands, you may be left floundering, and you do NOT want to miss a potential creature drop. I will point out, though, that you're too low on green sources, considering how all-important Manaweft is.
Finally, Slivers is wrecked even harder than most decks against control. For your sideboard, Pithing Needle for Aetherling, Glare of Heresy for Elspeth, Wear / Tear for Detention Sphere and God weapons... all those are good depending on how heavy your meta is with control. Similarly, Hammer of Purphoros is surprisingly good. You won't always have Blur available, especially when facing midrange or control. It's also good after boardwipes, turning your spare lands into creatures to swing with, and letting you swing immediately with Bonescythes and Megantics before they get Detention Sphered or Dreadbored.
Hope the post helps.

A friend of mine has a fairly scary Standard sliver deck. We play casual and it wins most of the time, except against cheap, turn 1 win type decks. Based on his deck I would recommend removing the Battle Sliver , Sylvan Caryatid and Mizzium Mortars , as well as possibly Sentinel Sliver and Hive Stirrings . Battle Sliver is too much mana in an aggro deck, plus it's ability isn't all that great. I don't know how well Sentinel Sliver works in slivers but it seems like it could mabye be cut. Sylvan Caryatid could probably be replaced with a Chromatic Lantern which has better fixing. Hive Stirrings doesn't produce very interesting tokens, but with Manaweft Sliver or Thorncaster Sliver having the 2 creatures for 1 card would be good. Mizzium Mortars is a good board wipe, but Thorncaster Sliver could have a similar effect if you have enough creatures out.
I know you ask not to recommend it, but I would put Thorncaster Sliver s in, if your attacking with 5 or 6 creatures it can clear out blockers very nicely, or just burn your opponent(s). Chromatic Lantern can be helpful, and they allow you to put a few off color cards in. My friend has 2 Galerider Sliver and flying slivers if you have Megantic Sliver or Bonescythe Sliver is game over. A couple more Mutavault s wouldn't be misplaced. I don't know what most control decks are like in the current meta, but detain/Arrest does nothing to slivers.
Just some thoughts based on my experience.

Most control decks have Supreme Verdict .
I run Battle Sliver because this deck is more midrange than aggro, and Battle Sliver really helps.
I run Sylvan Caryatid because I'm a budget deck (I opened it).

So, against what decks do you swap cards in from your sideboard?
December 18, 2013 2 p.m.
Most everything. Against aggro, I bring in Sentinel Sliver and sometimes Last Breath . Everything else is against control except for the Plummet , which is for MUD and MBD.

Try to consider Gods willing into your deck. The removal in this meta game is so strong and that's the reason why you are out matched by mono black.

I would take out prophetic prisms, they dont seem great. i would also replace those with a mizzium mortars and a bnoros charm
December 22, 2013 5:56 p.m.
I don't know. If was doing this, I'd swap out the Sylvan Caryatid for another Boros Charm and the Prophetic Prisms for 2 Door of Destinies. I really don't think they're needed with as well as 4 Manaweft Slivers.
December 23, 2013 6:09 p.m.
The Prophetic Prism s actually perform very well. They draw me a card for 2, which works wonders in an aggro deck. Sylvan Caryatid isn't integral, however, so it might be removed in the near future.
December 23, 2013 7:55 p.m.
I would replace the Prophetic Prism with some Darksteel Ingot . It's only one more mana, and you don't need to pay to tap.
December 28, 2013 11:12 p.m.
Prophetic doesn't actually give you an extra card advantage...it is using a card to draw a card. yes, it will be a permanent afterall but it is not really useful in your deck since you are having lots of mana ramp and with the help of the shock lands and temples. mana fixing shouldn't be a problem for you. Domri Rade is a better one to draw creatures in your deck
December 29, 2013 5:52 a.m.
@ShupNyup: If I was looking for ramp, I would play Darksteel Ingot . But I'm not, I'm looking to draw, so Prophetic Prism is in.
@cyrilpang: I would play shocks and temples if I could, but this deck is played with cards I have.

I posted your deck on a deck help thread, praised it for how good it was while keeping it on a budget, yet, I forgot to upvote. Happy 50th!

@osang21: I saw that post, and commented on the deck before you posted mine on that thread, but thank you for doing that anyway! Thanks for the upvote!!!

Hey,
Great looking Sliver Deck. Slivers see a lot of play in my circle. I think the only thing I'd say is. Prophetic Prism... there has to be a better way to get some card advantage. I know you're not using it for mana fixing. Otherwise everything else is solid. Good deck

I'd like that for utility sake. You have a lot of Theros and M14 right? Maybe Bident of Thassa , or Thassa's Bounty or Divination . Just some basic draw stuff. I know divination is pretty basic but it gets you an extra card for just one colorless.

If you're looking for draw mechanics yeah. With Manaweft Sliver or Nylea's Presence you don't even need to add that much in the way of blue mana. Other alternatives beyond splashing would be Wild Guess

It would be a sideboard card to bring in against MUD (and maybe MBD), but it's too limited to go in the SB.
