TheLivingCME I'm not completely sure if you're an EDH person or not, but if you are can you take a look at this deck? I keep making subtle changes and I'm not satisfied with it no matter how many changes I make. If you have any advice I'm open to suggestions.

RedJokr and ComboCrazy same goes for yal. If you can think of anything. Any notes or suggestions please let me know. Thanks guys!

I actually never played EDH, and I don't even know where to start ...

Seeing the deck, some cards that come to my mind are Mortivore and Geth, Lord of the Vault, but I don't know if they're good in EDH.

TheLivingCME thanks for the suggestions man. I have thought of Mortivore but he was taken out because if I was going to reanimate something I'd want something with an ETB trigger or immediate benefits. Mortivore doesn't have trample either making him somewhat of vanilla (albeit strong) creature. Geth takes from my opponent's graveyard when I want mine. Yea sorry man didn't know if you were EDH or not.

Pheardemons:

I don't have any suggestions since I'm not an EDH expert.Wish I could suggest something, even if it's one small thing, but I have nothing at the moment.

Okay! First off, LOVE THIS. Works extremely well. I got three suggestions. First off, run some more win-conditions. One idea is Biovisionary + Infinite Reflection . Also, I would add more stuff that can deal with Leyline of the Void, it'd give you some problems. Lastly... Where's the Laboratory Maniac???

Kederekt Leviathan, lol. Get-a-rekt leviathan! XD

ComboCrazy That is a pretty interesting combination. Didn't even realize it existed.

Laboratory Maniac was actually taken out as I don't have counters or whatnot to protect him, so he'd be an immediate target Granted he's worth having as a backup I just continuously say hi dying quickly if I ever brought him out in this deck.

And what cards do you think should go in the deck to deal with problematic cards in these colors? Also what would you take out for any of the cards you recommended?

I haven't played the deck extensively, so I'm not entirely sure what you should remove. I would say maybe Kederekt Leviathan and... I'm really not sure. As for Laboratory Maniac, you do have Asceticism in there to protect him, on the occasion that you get both. I would replace Terastodon with Bane of Progress. It's possibly bigger, and would wipe out anything that would mess with your graveyard strategy, albeit at slight detriment.

I do like Bane of Progress, will definitely look into him. Also ComboCrazy I was looking to try and make room for Soul Swallower, Seasons Past, Exploration or Burgeoning, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, and possibly Kiora, the Crashing Wave. Any thoughts or suggestions or cards to take out, or whether these are any good to add in?

Soul Swallower is not worth it, it has no ETB effect and it's ability is not very useful. Exploration, Burgeoning, and Azusa, Lost but Seeking are all worth adding if you have plentiful sources of card draw. Kiora, the Crashing Wave is ok, Planeswalkers tend to keep the heat off of you for a turn, as well.

Thanks Ruffigan! Do you have any possible suggestions of cards to take out of the deck for those cards? And my thought process for extra lands per turn was obviously for card draw, but also for Crucible of Worlds + Strip Mine combination and even just playing lands from my graveyard as this is a dredge deck.

I would recommend Genesis, Mesmeric Orb, and Dreamborn Muse.

Thank you chirz2792 for the comment and suggestions!

I do agree with, and really like, Genesis and will try to find a place for him. However Mesmeric Orb and Dreamborn Muse seem like they would deck me in a multiplayer match. Right now the deck can dredge/mill pretty well AND I can control it pretty well.

That being said, may I ask for the reasoning behind those two cards chirz2792?

chirz2792 says... #14

I used to run them in my own sidisi deck and they worked really well to help me get zombies and reanimation targets.

April 29, 2016 5:18 p.m.

chirz2792 says... #15

It could also give you the option of milling your opponents as a backup plan.

Pheardemons says... #16

Thanks chirz2792 - I will take them into consideration and playtest!

April 29, 2016 5:26 p.m.

chirz2792 says... #17

No problem :). Sidisi is a really cool general. I used to have a lot fun with my build but I took it apart because my playgroup started becoming better and I couldn't figure out how to make it so she could keep up.

chirz2792 That's why I'm trying to make it a toolbox theme. Also a little worried about adding in major mill cards. If I mill between 2 to 5 cards a turn then I'm more likely to be able to utilize specific cards in the graveyard because the cards needed to utilize won't also be in the graveyard (statistically speaking). However there have been games where I wanted more cards in my graveyard, therefore Mirror-Mad Phantasm became a thing. I'll definitely playtest your ideas though.

April 29, 2016 5:44 p.m.

chirz2792 says... #19

Fair enough. Although Mirror-Mad Phantasm reminds me of a card I forgot to suggest: Havengul Lich.

April 29, 2016 5:48 p.m.

Pheardemons says... #20

I have looked into Havengul Lich, but I don't have that many activated abilities. Casting from the graveyard isn't that bad though. I'll look into him further chirz2792. Thanks!

April 29, 2016 6:01 p.m.

chirz2792 says... #21

Sure. Another question for you. Do you end up making a lot of tokens with this deck or is that just a side effect of using sidisi?

April 29, 2016 6:14 p.m.

Pheardemons says... #22

Tokens are mainly a side effect. However, in playtesting I did get enough to make Endless Ranks of the Dead a worthwhile card. Usually I'll sacrifice them to Champion of souls, Hell's Caretaker, or leave them as blockers and attack with everything else. If my opponent allows them to stay on the battlefield though I'll definitely take the opportunity to overwhelm them with zombies.

Let me know what you think of the update I just put in.

chirz2792 says... #23

Looks good. This deck looks like it's fun to play. Just curious and I don't mean to keep suggesting new cards but what are your thoughts on The Gitrog Monster?

April 29, 2016 6:36 p.m.

Pheardemons says... #24

I don't have any problems with suggestions. Keep them coming. Honestly because of the land destruction I didn't exactly want him, but now that Azusa, Lost but Seeking is actually apart of the deck I kind of like him. Him and Crucible of Worlds where absolutely made for each other. However he doesn't provide immediate benefits like some of my other creatures do with ETB triggers. I'll have to think about him and how he could be utilized with the deck. I'm about to leave for work, but bring any/all suggestions if you think of any more. Also if there's anything in the deck you don't like or really like let me know. Thanks for the thought processes chirz2792, again keep 'em coming.

April 29, 2016 6:44 p.m.

chirz2792 says... #25

Well gitrog provides you with an extra land drop and he also triggers off of dredge so I figured he'd be an awesome card for a deck like this although I can see how the land sacrifice can be a problem in a deck not dedicated to him.
