Okay, so at first I planed for this to be a very casual token deck (not an infinite combo deck). However, I decided to take it up a notch and make it at least a little bit competitive, so that you can stomp your friends in a grand fashion ;) . Okay, now that we are clear on what kind of deck this is let us talk about our card choices.

On Mana: Show

Ancient Ziggurat , Gemstone Mine , Sliver Hive , Unclaimed Territory , Cascading Cataracts are our choices for multicolored lands. In addition we play 2 copies of Forest for the early Path to Exile that might fly our way. The decision why we want Forest out of all the possible choices for a standard land is due to the fact that an early Gemhide Sliver and Manaweft Sliver allow us to generate whatever mana we want as long as we have Slivers. On a sidenote, Basal Sliver also allows us to get more mana...but it comes at a big price. You better think twice about sacrificing your slivers will help your gameplan or spell your doom. Not that I'm saying sac-ing Slivers is always wrong, there are a lot of times when it is the right choice, I just want you to think ahead cause every action has consequences. Aether Vial is something I don't really need to explain, right? Short Version: it allows us to cheat out stuff without having to pay the manacost :)

On Draw: Show

Now as you can see our draw-engine is mostly based on Dormant Sliver , allowing us to draw through our deck real fast. However, due to the fact that RNG is not always a gentle mistress we can utilize the powers of a rather useful friend Homing Sliver . Those two in combination with our serious mana production should be enough to get everything we need to win a game.

On the Combo Show

Now this decks combo is pretty easy. 1. generate mana. 2. draw cards. 3. assemble the trinity ( Sliver Queen , Basal Sliver , Lavabelly Sliver ). 4. enjoy the infinite circle of rebirth, while your opponent curses the fact that Lavabelly Sliver exists.

Now there is a good reason why we play Lavabelly Sliver over say Screeching Sliver . Even though the later would actually be a cheaper way to end the game, the presence of Lavabelly Sliver on the board might actually be more relevant pre-combo. Against some decks [mostly aggro/burn] maybe 2-3 points of heal are all you need to stay in the game until you assemble your combo. So even though it is slower it matters little cause until we have all the combo pieces and the mana we simply play our fodder, whether it costs 1 or 3 mana :)

On the other choices: Show

While our combo is pretty nice and does a great job killing the enemy we also have to make sure that we get to that point therefore we include additional Slivers to make our life easy. Crystalline Sliver , Cloudshredder Sliver and Striking Sliver are all pretty good cards that make sure that both our offense and our defense are bolstered. Basal Sliver and Dregscape Sliver are also quite useful cause sometimes the drawback of Dormant Sliver is just annoying and you really want to get rid of it, while at other times you'd really love to get back that juicy Sliver Queen and OTK an unsuspecting opponent, right? However, whether you go for the combo or crush your opponent in a more conservative way matters little. Just try to prove the worth of the Hive :)

On the Sideboard: Show

A healthy mix of Slivers to make your life easier. Just pick the ones you feel will improve your matchups. Mindwhip Sliver vs. Blue, Relic of Progentius vs. Reanimator, etc. After playing enough matches you instinctively know which ones are best suited for the task.
