So I think I'm finally getting the hang of modern-(ish), namely that Boros Reckoner+Pariah+Volcano Hellion doesn't work. Anyway so I think this deck works, having doing a bit of playtesting, this deck works surprisingly well, it mostly plays around Leyline of Sanctity in fact Leyline of the Void works better against it.
I'm not very good with sideboards, especially in mono-red (I usually play green in standard) so any help in the sideboard department would be great, To be fair any help with the main deck'd be great.
Tactic's: (In quick summary, Phoenix's go zoom zoom)
Bolt and burn: Lightning Bolt and co. are there for 2 reasons, first the obvious that it has red, so obviously it's running Lightning Bolt as removal or burn, However in this deck It's often a good idea to hold the burn back for removal or to win the game once the phoenix's have done most of the work, to get rid of threats. The secondary reason is it activates Chandra's Phoenix which is huge but doesn't happen every game.
The Phoenix's:
I've already gone through Chandra's Phoenix, otherwise it's another 2/2 with haste and flying that refuses to die. One of the better phoenix's in the deck, a thing you'll often do is Cathartic Reunion ditch this then Lightning Bolt then this boy comes back to your hand (unfortunately not to the battlefield)
Rekindling Phoenix is the best phonix in the deck, It refuses to die, it will relentlssly smash your opponent in the face until it gets exiled or your opponent uses 2 removal spells, it also activates Flamewake Phoenix.
Flamewake Phoenix Also a good phoenix it keeps coming back so yeah, cool
Warcry Phoenix The original idea for the deck put this one as the kingpin but it doesn't work as well as it looks. It only comes back if 3 creatures are attacking by which time you've probably win but it's still a good card so I've kept it in.
I don't really need to go through the rest it should be self explanitory, and I'm lazy.
Again I don't play modern so any suggestions for this deck would be amazingly loved, I only playtested it on Xmage where the AI is alright but not amazing, so that will be all.
