GLITTERING OMNIFLUX

This deck was originally brewed by Travis Woo, and I have made only minor changes. In the time since Woo brewed the pile, we've gained a fun, dynamic new wincon that really helps to make the deck more consistent -- and faster, online, as well. We're trying to win with Approach of the Second Sun or a bunch of Cruel Ultimatums by casting a bunch of free spells off of Omniscience -- let's see how it works.

RAMP

Generally, the most important thing to do early game is going to be ramping. We have Lotus Bloom, Pentad Prism, and also Wargate cast for zero to immediately field a Bloom.

FIELDING OMNISCIENCE

There are two main ways we're looking to cheat out an Omniscience. Firstly, we can dump it to the yard with Faithless Looting or Izzet Charm, and then reanimate with Obzedat's Aid. Next, we can try to flip it off of a Brilliant Ultimatum to cast it for free. Occasionally, you may be able to naturally cast it off of your ramp spells.

UTILITY

While we usually want to loot with Izzet Charm, it can be handy in both other modes, as well. Getting rid of a Thalia or countering hand-hate can be very relevant. One of our namesake cards, however, if the most exciting utility piece: Glittering Wish. We can use this to get most of our combo pieces (Conflux, Izzet Charm to loot, Obzedat's Aid to reanimate, Wargate to ramp), as well as AWESOME hate cards. As Woo said in his streams, "Sideboarding is for scrubs!" Just play Glittering Wish!

ACTUALLY WINNING

Once you have your Omniscience fielded, the only thing you need to resolve is a Conflux. With this, you can grab a card of each color. You grab a second Conflux, Approach of the Second Sun, and the last three cards are typically irrelevant -- but to play propertly, grab your counters and a Glittering Wish for removal or Guttural Response. Then, cast Approach; next, another Conflux, grabbing Approach and four other cards. Cast Approach again -- and win! If you had Approach yoinked, your backup wincons are multiple Cruel Ultimatums and Nikol Bolas.

SIDEBOARD

Most of our board is combo pieces. The sweepers are great for Humans or token decks; Guttural Response is anti-counter insurance; Slaughter Games wrecks Storm and other combo decks; and Fracturing Gust gets Affinity. Wear//tear is nice for Tron and pesky enchantments. Treasured Find gets back combo pieces if they've been stripped.

Suggestions welcome! It's a fun, terrible, awesome deck.
