Hardened Scale Beatdown (Competitive) (Standard MTG Deck)

A mostly aggro deck focusing on massively buffing creatures to quickly crush any opposition with huge creatures. Drana, Liberator of Malakir is a star of the deck, pumping all of my creatures when they swing. Managorger Hydra is a constant threat, making opponents think twice before playing anything. A powerful Avatar of the Resolute plus Undergrowth Champion provide a strong board presence also. Cards like Ruinous Path and Complete Disregard give me some flexible removal. In a tight spot Temur Battle Rage can fuel more damage, and probably trigger trample with all the counters adding up for ferocious.

The deck works incredibly quickly getting tons of cheap creatures out and making them humongous and unstoppable. The last game I played I ended with a 11/12 Drana, Liberator of Malakir and four 5/5 thopters from Hangarback Walker. Also Avatar of the Resolute has easily become a 7/6 or higher, while Managorger Hydra does what it does best!
