Basically, I became disgruntled with going to FNM and playing against carbon copy UW control. I played 5 rounds and saw 4 UW control and one Red Burn. Zzzzzzzzz... Anyways, I set out to see if I could build something that breaks the typical UW control while still being able to deal with other deck archetypes. Basically, I counter major threats and try to land a Daxos of Meletis and have fun casting their cards for them. It works pretty good when you can land a Silence on their draw step and then use Render Silent to counter anything they try to do on your turn. Council of the Absolute is awesome. At 4 cmc and toughness of 4, a lot of removal misses it. Cool thing against UW control is naming Jace, Architect of Thought and dropping him for UU on your side of the board. What is bonkers is landing Elite Arcanist and exiling Silence. If you can land a second one and exile Render Silent it's pretty much GG. I would love any comments or suggestions.
