Vs U/W Control: 2-1

I won the high-roll and he had to mulligan once; so I was able to open the first match with an Inquisition of Kozilek. He really didn't keep that great of a hand, but I made him discard his Spell Snare and from there I was able to essentially outpace him and build up a huge board presence and swing for obnoxious amounts of damage.. Game 2 went very differently. For one, I kept a one-land hand just because it also came with a pair of Inquisitions; this was a mistake because it took 2-3 turns for me to finally draw another Swamp. By that time he had locked me down with Cryptic Commands and a Vedalken Shackles at the ready. That match took a long time to finish, but he eventually wore me down.. The third match went a lot like the first (minus the mulligan..), and we were in somewhat in a hurry so he may or may-not have made some misplays along the way that led to a (relatively) quick & satisfying beatdown..

Vs W/x Human Allies: 2-0

I was actually a little nervous going into this one because I knew this guy was a seasoned player, and that he was playing an extremely aggressive deck..

He won the high-roll & was able to start things off doing some heavy damage to me, but luckily I was able to stabilize after kicking out a Gatekeeper of Malakir turns 3 & 4 followed by a trusty 1-mana Dismember during his turn, from there his Gemstone Mine had already been used up, and therefore he really didn't have the cards or the mana to recover.. Game 2 went similarly except that I had a Ratchet Bomb out on turn-2 to blow up his 1-drops turn-3 followed by  kicking out a Gatekeeper turns 3 & 4 to ruin his board position (yet again..) before I started bringing the pain myself with the Gatekeepers themselves followed by a pair of back-to-back Geralf's Messengers..

Vs Mono-Green Infect: 0-2

Go figure; the guy that normally comes sporting a Grixis control deck decides to show up sporting one of these for a change... I kept what would normally be a decent draw against any other deck, but unfortunately couldn't find any Inquisition of Kozilekor Thoughtseize early enough, therefore try as I might, I couldn't draw nearly enough removal fast enough to keep his creatures off of me.. A steady stream of Ichorclaw Myr & Inkmoth Nexus gave me the blues, and made me curse the Go for the Throat that I drew during the first game.. Anyone who's ever been on the wrong side of one of these decks knows what I mean.. In my defense it at least took about 6-7 turns to seal the deal rather than usual 2-4 turn wins that these decks are used to..

Conclusion

Dispite the loss to pump-Infect; I'm actually really happy about the way this deck performed tonight, and I'm really looking forward to bringing it back out again..And I even got a foil Gray Merchant of Asphodel out of the ordeal!

I don't know how often you come across it, but your deck has a weakness to re-animator. Tormod's Crypt or Grafdigger's Cage might be a good idea.

Vampire Hexmage vs planeswalker control (it kills planeswalkers) and it's another permanent they have to deal with and it's double black for devotion.

I don't think you need Memoricide or Erebos, God of the Dead .

Wow, I've been getting a lot of great suggestions lately.. Thanks guys!!

I've made a lot of changes to the sideboard accordingly, and I've even made a small adjustment to the mainboard as well.. :)

@Noa: I really haven't came across re-animator decks, but I DO run into Snapcaster Mage , and I do like the idea of Tormod's Crypt over Grafdigger's Cage simply because the latter would ruin the effectiveness of Geralf's Messenger & Whip of Erebos .. Also I run Pithing Needle as a blanket solution vs planeswalkers & various other nuisances (So rather than killing one of four, instead render ALL FOUR as dead draws).. And finally Memoricide is there for vs UrzaTron & various combo decks..

@APPLE01DOJ: Just wow.. Thank you.. The main deal is that I DO own an old playset of Rain of Tears , I'm just not sure how to work it in..
