I challenged my wife to a common build off from our collection. This is what I came up with.

Hold the line! Dig for lands with Gatecreeper Vine. "Ramp" with Axebane Guardian. Draw some cards with Take Inventory, Comparative Analysis and Preordain. Finishers are Vent Sentinel and/or Doorkeeper.
