Let's say we have Moss Viper with Rune of Might , tapped and attacking.
When Moss Viper gets blocked by Wall of Runes , our attacker deals lethal damage (deathtouch) to the blocker and the rest to our opponent (trample). The Wall takes 1 damage and the opponent takes the rest.

What happens when they do combat damage to another a player?

• Fynn, the Fangbearer means that they get a poison counter. We only need to hit them five times and they lose.
• Toski, Bearer of Secrets means that for each creature, we draw a card.
• Even if we don't do damage to a player, Hooded Blightfang helps us tick away at their health
