Spot Removal [12]

• Cast Down, Ultimate Price, Go for the Throat (6).- All these spells do one thing and one thing alone, remove a target at instant speed for as low as 2 CMC. The reason why three different versions of the same effect were included, is to circumvent the downside of each one, allowing them to fix each other's weakness.
• Defile (4).- A one CMC removal spell that also gets rid of indestructible targets. Has the advantage of becoming stronger the more swamps you have in play.
• Dismember (2).- A versatile and effective removal spell that removes a big target for any combination of mana and life. .
• Feed the Swarm (2).- Black has always had a pretty bad shortcoming when it comes to removal, enchantments. This is a slow version of the other 2 CMC of the deck, that exchanges the “Instant Speed” for the change of affecting enchantments, that is other ways impossible for most Mono Black Decks.
