Do you have a "friend" who collects counter spells like a deranged magpie collects shiny things. Make them learn how to play actual control spells like Discontinuity, Unsubstantiate, or Summary Dismissal. Until that happens, smash away with this generic budget friendly, prejudice against the only color who says you can't have fun, deck.

When the troglodyte learns to adapt, we already used our 3 braincells oiling our muscles to let them know brain still means nothing in the face of perfect pecs and thunder thighs. When Bluey starts to "counter" uncounterable spells, we side in Guttural Response. When Bluey runs reset buttons like Time Wipe and Supreme Verdict we add Ranger Class and Toski, Bearer of Secrets to keep the ball rolling.

Another generic build around to punish bluey's decision to say no is to veto it like you're 2/3rds of congress. This requires a bit of a deck shake-up. But to sum up. You drop Prowling Serpopard and a several of the other "can't be countered" creatures for Summoning Trap, Howlpack Piper  , and unlisted really brawny creatures. Can't counter creatures brought in with piper, and if Bluey wants to flex by countering a mana dork, trap can slam down Impervious Greatwurm, then the 'progress preventer' will be promptly pounded by any potent projector of pain trap pops out, until the peppering continues and turns bluey into a pacifist called turbo fog... then we add Questing Beast
