Attrition Deck (Rediscovering MTG)

Modern WB (Orzhov)

I'm creating one of my first custom decks. I used to play MTG with my little bro casually when I was a kid and loved it. But never really had a firm grasp on the rules.

Now that I'm older (15+ years later) I've rediscovered the game and all it's glory! I'm still a newb when it comes to rules and strategy. But after some intense lurking and research, I think I've created a nice budget deck that I can win some games with.

My Strategy: Try to get low mana cost creatures in ASAP; using lifelink, flying, deathtouch,( Vampire Cutthroat and Vampire Nighthawk )as well as cards that help me gain life slowly ( Suture Priest and Soul Warden ). I also threw some walls in there to defend the weaker creatures whose abilities give me an advantage in getting a slow trickle of life (essentially using them as enchantments that will occasionally attack/block). I have cards like Distress in there to help me gain control of my opponents deck early as I get as many creatures on the battlefield as I can. Essentially I want to chip away at my opponents life, while slowly gaining life and playing defense with walls etc. like Angelic Wall , Wall of Reverence , and Gift of Granite .

Let me know if you have any recommendations! Thanks
