Those are some nice creatures you have there. It would be a shame if someone were to...pacify them.

Azorius control! Fun times. When I started off building it, I imagined having it do two things:

  1. Neutralize threats
  2. Spread the damage (see sideboard), to make it even harder for my opponent to block everything

However, I found it difficult to keep a balance between the two functions, and found myself focusing more on the control aspect. Therefore, any feedback is appreciated.

Most of my creatures aren't particularly scary - Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer and New Prahv Guildmage help with control, Thraben Inspector helps with card draw, and the Squadron Hawk playset helps me thin my deck and easily get a bunch of inexpensive flying chump blockers. I did throw in a couple of nukes - Archon of the Triumvirate and Ojutai, Soul of Winter - for good measure, and both can also help with control.
