This is a deck I have been play-testing and would like to be my standard deck to work on and play for the next few months or so. It's my first attempt to get into competitive standard and I think the deck has some honest potential.

I know the fetch-lands are absent, as I'm still debating collecting them because they'll rotate out soon enough....

The main player I think is Herald of Kozilek, as a 2/4 for a 3 CMC isn't too bad, plus he cuts the cost on almost everything in the deck (devoid). Even with just one of him on the field he can help with the combos and they only become more efficient with more of him on the field. Brutal Expulsion is a brutal card indeed, especially with Herald. Being able to do two things with a possible 3 CMC is worth it.
If I can effectively ramp Sire of Stagnation out before turn 6, he becomes quite a threat and as asset for myself with the card advantage he possesses.For the winners, Vile Aggregate along with Barrage Tyrant , I can fling my Sires or Viles directly to health or any threats I see.

I think the removal in the deck is alright, but I think it can be improved. Again, Im open to all suggestions for this build.Thanks!

It's apparent the average CMC cost here might be a tad too large against some match ups. The deck also under performs when I can't get Herald of Kozilek out by turn 3. Without my 2 or 3 drop creatures it's hard to withstand against aggro creature decks that use Collected Company. I'm thinking maybe I need to dedicate this build to either aggro OR control, and maybe knock it down to 2 colors.... Any help is appreciated
