Moriok Rigger Discussion

Hmmm Leaden Myr seems like the card to remove it you are just looking to upgrade. But I like Myr and would play both, maybe Moriok Rigger he is just a big creature after all, no evasion or anything. Or Night Market Lookout sure he fits you tap theme but is one damage to everyone worth the effort? But maybe cutting creatures makes activating vehicles hard, in that case Ballista Charger feels like your weakest one.

Cards I would Remove (Suggestions):

Cards I would Add:

There probably is stuff fundamentally i might change as well, but the deck looks alright overall. Giving him unblockable is huge (Trailblazer's Boots & Prowler's Helm). The best pump equipment for monoblack should also not be over looked (Lashwrithe, Nightmare Lash, & Strata Scythe). Giving lifelink is huge + Recursion is nice (i.e. Whip of Erebos)). Steel Hellkite is debateable, but a cheaper option to deal with enchantments. There are "Better" options, but they are much more expensive. Anyway, Nice Deck! Look forward to playing it.

I reccomend this card a lot, but this is blatantly its home. Spawning Pit. Enduring Renewal has potential for a combo variant on this, but is a little too high mana here- aetheros too. Salvage Slasher/Glaze Fiend was fun back in conflux, but I don't know if it fits Painsmith suffers from not being an artifact themself- - Bygone Bishop / Genesis Chamber are fun but once again, not sure with your game plan. Lumengrid Sentinel might allow an 'all lands tapped all the time' lockdown, but that seems too tricky to bother with. Moriok Rigger as well, Vedalken Archmage, Ulvenwald Mysteries, most of it is too much mana for the deck, although it might be fun.All told, very nice work. +1

To help with colorless mana why not use Ashnod's Altar? If you have the money or trade credit Sneak Attack is fantastic. Unspeakable Symbol is a two for one letting you stay off the throne and keep creatures coming back. Take a look at my Marchesa deck Marchesa's Meaty, Menacing Monsters, its not artifact focused but you might get some ideas. Some interesting artifact cards that could be good are: Disciple of the Vault, Moriok Rigger, Shimmer Myr, Trading Post, Skeleton Shard, Thirst for Knowledge, Shrapnel Blast.

Flagellum on Glissa, the Traitor Ideas

Just spitting out cards that would go well with the above scenario. Not listing the key combo or bauble cards that work well with Glissa. Note: Obviously these aren't the best, just perhaps lesser known/used:

Moriok Rigger/Vermiculos/Molder Beast/Arcbound Crusher/Glaze Fiend: Big beats. Glaze Fiend or Arcbound Crusher are the better of the bunch. Vermiculos could get insaaaaaaanely fat here, it just lacks evasion.

Fangren Marauder/Scrapheap: lifegain.

Summoning Station/Myr Turbine/Nuisance Engine/Orochi Hatchery: tokens. Obviously better with the likes of Parallel Lives/Doubling Season (the latter is out of the budget).

Mirrorworks: because sometimes one isn't enough.

Throne of Geth: perhaps, if I run enough counters of various sorts.

Y u no have Steamflogger Boss and Moriok Rigger? I can understand not having the latter but the former is actually a decent lord.

I made a sacrifice deck with Glissa, the Traitor a while back. I'm not trying to plug my deck or anything, but it can probably give you some ideas. Glissa, Tyrant of Sacrifice

Off the top of my head:

I use Blisterpod and Wurmcoil Engine (and to a lesser extent Scuttling Doom Engine), Ichor Wellspring, and Mycosynth Wellspring as efficient sac material, and things like Eternal Thirst and Moriok Rigger to profit from all the death.

Awakening Zone, Feed the Pack, and From Beyond all give lots of creatures I can sac without remorse.
