Scythecat Cub
Creature — Cat
Trample
Landfall — Whenever a land enters under your control, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature you control. If this is the second time this ability has resolved this turn, double the number of +1/+1 counters on that creature instead.

NV_1980 I have minimal ways to deal with artifacts/enchantments such as Naturalize and Song of the Dryads and Season of Gathering, but I will likely add Steelbane Hydra as it is a great recommendation to deal with the limited removal issues.
I will replace a land for Ghost Town and likely put in Traverse the Outlands but I don't think I'll use Awaken the Woods
I did have Scythecat Cub in but removed it for I believe Ouroboroid While the deck is landfall based, it's mostly a +1/+1 deck and I like the different styles of win conditions it has between quickly scaling counters, mana ramp to bring in heavy hitters, land control with Strip Mine + play cards from your graveyard effects.
Otherwise, I'm glad you like the deck. I've made several changes to it but it's the first deck I've spent quality time building and improving, Bill is just the goat I love him.

This is a great looking deck. Some ideas coming from my own version (that I have yet to post in this website):
- Awaken the Woods: absolutely terrifying spell in a landfall-themed deck. Don't leave your forest without one!
- Ghost Town: once you have it, it basically guarantees one land drop per turn at minimum.
- Scythecat Cub: becomes absolutely devastating rather fast if you can keep dropping lands every turn.
- Traverse the Outlands: with the power of creatures you'll be getting, this ramp spell will be insanely strong.
Aside from the above, your deck currently doesn't seem to be able to do much against opposing enchantments and artifacts. Maybe consider adding something like Steelbane Hydra or something. Have fun!

You're def on the right track KBK7101, since God-Eternal Bontu was included in the stock precon list (along with Korvold, Fae-Cursed King and The Gitrog Monster).
Bontu is solid for sure. I've used it in a couple of Aristocrats decks before. I'll reconsider it as I play-test more, especially if I feel like I need another pseudo-evasive beater.
I want to put this deck together in paper, but am weighing my options on picking up the last 7 cards I don't currently own:
I'm considering which proxy service is fastest, or maybe picking up a couple of the cards listed here, and swapping the other slots for cards I already own in the next accordion block:
-
Scythecat Cub - Given the price tag, this is the one I'd most likely proxy.
-
Sphere Grid - Def a priority pick up from this batch for the keyword anthem & counters synergy.
-
Icetill Explorer - Also another priority pick up from this batch.
-
Ouroboroid - This feels like it could probably get swapped for Uncivil Unrest, esp for similar prices.
-
Pitiless Carnage - I already have Bontu and Reprocess in my collection.
These are all prime candidates for swaps, until I figure out how and which of the others to pick up:
-
Malakir Rebirth Flip - MDFC upside
-
Druid of Purification - No synergy beyond having more removal.
Other candidates for consideration:
