Old Stuff That is no Longer Relevant Show

Zallas says... #2

I want an Option to mark all my Signed cards in the Deck. Similar to languages and alters.

October 5, 2015 12:59 p.m.

I agree that the forums need visual restructuring.

Groupings of tiles may work, with a row of tiles for each format deck help, each general format discussion (including kitchen table, pauper, etc.), inter-user actions (social, trading post), TappedOut stuff (coding, TappedOut thread, site updates), and other (gear, general, BE, Challenges, Custom cards).

This would greatly consolidate the page and make it significantly easier to navigate.

This just popped into my head as a luxury (whereas I have the above restructuring closer to a necessity): be able to pin 3-5 favorite forums to the top of the forums page, or to the "Inventory" folder-icon menu at the top.

Something I saw a bit ago that I thought was an interesting idea, was 'Cube Cycling.' Compared to decks, Cubes are kind of shoved into a corner, and if they fall of the first page only a handful of people will see them. I think it would be nice if we could maybe get some cubes on the front page, as I know I would love to get some feedback on mine, and I'm sure there are other Cube owners who would love more feedback than the little 'Top Picks' tracker. Just an idea, though admittedly, I have no idea how to do such a thing.

Femme_Fatale says... #5

The groupings was exactly my envision of how the format should be done ducttapedeckbox. It can either have 2 columns or 3 columns. 2 columns would be simple as it would fit things like standard and standard deck help side by side. 3 columns would still have that, but the third column would be the forums that don't have a "partner" forum.

Cube cycling is something I also considered nayrash5.

So ... price fluctuation graphs have now been implemented onto decks. Only problem is is that they don't accurately portray the deck's price.

October 5, 2015 6:55 p.m.

How big are you envisioning the tiles? Would they include recently active threads?

I'm thinking small tiles - 3 per row at least. I have a somewhat large laptop so I'm trying to think of users with smaller screens. The tile would have the forum name and description, a drop down to see recently active threads in that forum, and the rest of the tile would link to the forum itself.

October 5, 2015 8:49 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #8

The size of the tiles are the same height wise but 1/3rd of their length. The nice thing about T/O is that most of the stuff on this site can change size depending on your screen resolution.

October 5, 2015 11:25 p.m.

That's about the size I was imagining. Between 1/3 and 1/4 of the length.

What about grouping? I think that grouping the types rather than formats would be the easiest to navigate and visually appealing. For example, the formats would be a 2x3 matrix (row x column) with Standard, Modern, Legacy || EDH, Pauper, (empty). Then there would be a horizontal divider followed by the next section.

The Draft Simulator could really use a spambot of some kind, or maybe a Moderator or two.

nayrash5 says... #11

That should say, 'And//Or.'

Regulus1010 says... #12

I apologize in advance if this was covered but I didn't see it yet. It was posted on another thread but I didn't see any responses there either: There is no "trade" tab under BFZ cards to see who has/is looking for a specific card.

http://tappedout.net/mtg-forum/tappedout/bfz-cards-missing-trade-option/

(Sorry, I can never get links to work on this site)

October 8, 2015 4:06 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #13

It is in this list Regulus1010, near the top of the list on the bugs section. It even links to ThisIsBullshit's thread.

No comments were made most likely because no one had anything else to really report.

Lots of bugs and issues these past few days.

sylvannos says... #16

What's with the break command (< / b r >) not spacing properly on the site? Just today I noticed it's now completely broken in the comments section of my decks.

Or am I an idiot and not using the correct syntax and posting in the wrong thread?

October 10, 2015 6 a.m.

Narric says... #17

Posting here ratherthan make a new thread.

In my Inventory I have cards listed as being part of decks, but none of my decks contain these cards.

No option to remove the line through inventory either.

October 10, 2015 8:21 a.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #18

Better to make a new thread if it is a new bug Narric/sylvannos. That way yeago can actually get the notification and fix the issue. This is more just a list for everyone else other than yeago to check on what's been said before.

GregariousG says... #19

Not sure if it's just me, but there are certain BFZ cards that are showing up as illegal in decks were they are perfectly legal. For example, Sunken Hollow and Sire of Stagnation are now illegal in my BUG deck and Emeria Shepherd is illegal in my Bant deck.

October 10, 2015 6:06 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #20

I haven't gotten around to fixing the legalities of the BFZ cards GregariousG. Normally yeaGO has a script that does it automatically, but it isn't working at the moment. Rest assured, BFZ cards are legal in every format.

Quarion65 says... #21

My deck: Its Playtime $30 Budget has a card in it called Mana Short. Mana Short is not modern legal, but the site says my deck is legal.

October 11, 2015 8:18 a.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #22

Try refreshing the deck by making a minor edit Quarion65.

October 11, 2015 3:55 p.m.

Quarion65 says... #23

Thanks, that worked.

Hi, I write a MTG related blog in blogger.com, with the tappedout script tag working correctly until now. The decks do not show up anymore, although the HTML is still there and correctly put, was there any problem?

October 12, 2015 9:40 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #29

Tappedout script tag ...

You mean one of these two things, theblackgauntlet?

<script src="http://tappedout.net/tappedout.js"></script><div class="deck-list" data-stub="deck-slug-goes-here">&nbsp;</div>

<script src="http://tappedout.net/tappedout.js"></script><div class="deck-list">List of cards go here</div>

October 13, 2015 1:52 a.m.

Yes, Femme_Fatale, the script tag added on the head of my blog just like it's explained in the tappedout.js, and the elements placed just as it states. It worked perfectly for six months, but suddenly has stopped showing the decks. Besides that, I was taking a look to other blogs in the same platform that use the script and they have the same problem.

Oh, and I tried with the lines you wrote in the last comment and adding my own deck slug, still not work.

October 13, 2015 5:05 a.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #31

Well, I can assure you that they work on T/O at least. The Fusion of Modern and Standard ... is proof of that. However there is nothing I can do about it not working on other sites. I'll log it down, but there is no guarantee that it'll be done soon.

October 13, 2015 5:38 a.m.

XMLHttpRequest cannot load "http://tappedout.net/api/deck/widget/. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://pauperspellcasters.blogspot.com.es' is therefore not allowed access."

This is the error that appears on the console. I hope it helped to understand what's wrong.

ZeoStar says... #33

If you add a card in your commander deck that's not of the right color and save it. Then, later replace the card with one that is, if you have lands that can produce any color, that extra color will still show up in the pie chart as a color in your deck.

October 15, 2015 3:02 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #34

That can be fixed by clicking the "regen charts" button ZeoStar.

October 15, 2015 3:54 p.m.

ZeoStar says... #35

Femme_Fatale, where would this magical button be located?

October 16, 2015 2:24 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #36

Where all the other deck related buttons are, like the deckcycle button.

October 16, 2015 7:30 p.m.

ZeoStar says... #37

Deckcycle? Because there is no button related to the chart there...

October 16, 2015 7:51 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #38

October 16, 2015 9:10 p.m.

ZeoStar says... #39

Yeah. I don't have that button. Probably only available to premium users.

October 16, 2015 9:36 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #40

Odd. Should only be the "get suggestions" button that is upgraded users only. yeaGO?

October 16, 2015 10:26 p.m.

yeaGO says... #41

admin only, regens stuff

Wolfsage13 says... #42

I like the new update, makes a lot of things much easier to change, and I like the notes and such. I've encountered a bug with transform cards though; Liliana, Heretical Healer in particular just shows the magic card back. I would also like to see a way to set life total to a particular value, and card placement smoothed out a bit. Good job overall .

October 21, 2015 6:25 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #43

If that is for the new playtester that just got out of Beta testing, direct your thoughts here, Wolfsage13, your thoughts will be heard more there.

I tried putting in an embed html code for youtube, but it isnt working. Is it disabled on here?

October 23, 2015 1:17 p.m.

yeaGO says... #45

can you paste it here between code brackets

October 23, 2015 1:23 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #46

Youtube codes I believe will only work on deck descriptions. No where else.

October 23, 2015 1:53 p.m.

micah1 says... #47

Femme, I that was where I tried to put it. Would you try it on a new deck to see if it will work for you?

October 23, 2015 4:11 p.m.

xFyreFlyx says... #48

When I try to edit the number of Blood Crypts in my deck Grishoalbrand Combogasm from 3 to 2 (both from the edit page part and from the deck page with the number editing button) it never saves and forces the deck to be marked prototype.

October 24, 2015 8:43 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #49

I can get it to work just fine micah1. Do what yeago says and grant us the code that you are having issues with so we can figure out if it is anything on your end.

October 24, 2015 9:42 p.m.

micah1 says... #50

Femme, I thought we couldn't post code on here. Tempest got mad earlier.
