So, quick idea, Unburial Rites into Angel of Glory's Rise into Brisela or whatever the hell you want. I'd like to know if this deck is viable, and what self-mill cards should go in (probably a bant or junk shell).

Interesting you thought of that - I had the same idea.

Right now, it's powered down to casual level without the full set of Path to Exiles and no fetches. The artifact lands would also have to go, but the deck works without them.

Angelic Overseer is ridiculously powerful in this shell. As long as you control even a single Noble Hierarch, you have a very powerful threat.

I played a stronger version against Jund, and it was able to wipe it out, so that's something. The deck is really weak to control though, and I don't know how the Affinity and combo matches would be. Grim Flayer races pretty nicely and digs well, and Gisela, the Broken Blade as well as the overseer could hold the skies against cranial-plated menaces.

I guess black is the color of discard, so you could use that to disrupt combo decks. Just side a bunch of Thoughtseizes or something.

Anyway, I hope that helps!

This was definitely a deck when it was in Standard.

Sam Pardee wrote this article on Human Reanimator that's reminiscent of Oops! All Spells in Legacy.

Fiend Hunter + human sac outlet + Angel of Glory's Rise = infinite loop to do whatever nonsense you want. Burning-Tree Emissary/Wild Cantor for infinite mana? Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip for infinite life and 2/2s? Death Cultist for the win?

I think the main shell of the deck is going to be:

4x Unburial Rites
4x Angel of Glory's Rise
4x Fiend Hunter
4x Cartel Aristocrat
4x Faithless Looting
4x Tormenting Voice
4x Goblin Lore
4x Golgari Grave-Troll (for maximum self-mill)

Your win conditions are between:

Now that I think about it, I might have to build this deck myself...
