TL;DR of the deck's description: It is a GW tempo style deck that plays like a mixture of Jund, Delver and Hatebears. It intercepts and slows down the opponents plays while playing stuff of my own at the same time. Do note that just because it has a really high creature count does not mean that this deck goes wide and swings with all of them. Only a select few creatures at any given time will be attacking, and those creatures change depending on the deck you face. The majority of the creatures are essentially the noncreature spells from Delver with Collected Company being our Dig Through Time. However, Flickerwisp buffed by Noble Hierarch is frequently the top damage dealer.

Anyways.

I said I had two different directions to go with and it can either be the list that's displayed on that deck OR the changes I will outline below:

Mainboard:

Remove:

Add:

Sideboard:

Remove:

Add:

One thing that people should keep in mind is that B/x Eldrazi, Merfolk, Zoo, Tron, Infect, Kiki-Chord, Scapeshift, Affinity, Hatebears and RDW will all see more play than they did before the ban. Some a lot more than others, but this is the general meta I'll be basing these changes on. And the general meta you should keep in mind when helping me choose which is better.

Thoughts on which of the two directions is better? Also, any other opinions are welcomed, but won't necessarily be accepted. Detailed reasons why will let that opinion hold more water.

Thanks in advance ~

I don't like the changes outlined above. It seems like selling out deck stability and power for gimmicky and overall weaker opportunities. Athreos is just not a card worth playing, particularly if you have to splash a whole color for him. Black might bring other options to the table which may be worth considering, but I don't see a need to add Athreos. Especially if you lose the fantastic Horizon Canopy in the process of splashing.

Athreos becomes quite a powerful beater really easily thanks to the plethora of creatures with in their cost. It is also quite useful to keep wraths off of me (remember, I can Vial in Athreos in response to a wrath), which I do believe are going to be more prevalent now that Twin and combo-control have given way to hard control and that BG/x decks changing up their removal base to account for a more aggro heavy format. Oh, and Tron too.

The reasons for the others is that without Twin, there's no real need for Voice of Resurgence. Regular control can be out-done with my recursion, CoCo and Vial, and I still don't see delver coming up too much (will have to wait and see). I rarely ever finish off an opponent with Voice anyways. It just either gets pathed or chumped.

Thalia I considered more important as something to mainboard slow down Tron, and hate on affinity, RdW and infect which I believe are all going to become more prevalent. Slowing down infect so I can start disrupting them with Fiend Hunters and Flickerwisps is quite important.

As for Sun Titan ... I'm not too sure I actually need him as I don't expect BG/x to gain any more meta share. If that is the case I could actually bring back in Voice as a 3 of. Shall update the changes..

Thalia I can agree with. As for stopping sweepers, I think just having inherent resilience from things like Kitchen Finks and being conservative with how far you extend is still the better option. It's true that he can be a large beater, but from what I can see it doesn't look like you really need one anyway. If Titan was for BGx, I might consider a single Thrun, the Last Troll instead. Although not as inherently value-heavy, it's still really potent and holds more relevance against hard control archetypes.
