The deck abuses -1/-1 counters mechanics. Card synergies:

• devoted druid + quillspike: a classic

• hatchlings + fate transfer: kill opponent creatures AND make your hatchlings bigger

• power conduit + any creature with 2 or more -1/-1 counters on it: remove a -1/-1 and put a +1/+1 on the same creature = remove 2 -1/-1 counters

• scarscale ritual + hatchlings: put a -1/-1 counter on a hatchling, draw 2 cards, remove a -1/-1 counter from the hatchling matching the scarscale ritual colors
