Thragtusk Supreme

Standard Aggro G/W (Selesnya)

dragonryder124 Score: 2

Description

It started out as just a fun green deck with Thrugtusk in it. but it evolved into something much more. It is not as fast as I want it to but hopefully fast enough

Still working on just making it better. I decided to take out prey upon just because I think oblivion ring is better in almost any situation. Also I think I my side board still needs more work.

Decided to put in a solo Gavony Township because there is no reason not to. Also decide that Trostani, Selesnya's Voice is really good against some decks and is just a good card in general.

Consider Armada Wurm. His cost is high enough that the two white shouldn't matter. He plays really well with restoration angel, and fills the top of the curve out a bit better since you have all the ramp and mana dorks. I might take out one garruk and one prey upon for two wurms. Or even move the sigardas to the sideboard for when you play against removal.

If anything I think Wolfir Silverheart is my weakest big creature, don't get me wrong he is very good but the wurm might have just a little more synergy. I can easily take him out for Armada Wurm and discovered i almost never have problems getting white mana. also thinking to make Oblivion Ring main board instead of prey upon; mostly for Lotleth Troll . Also playing around the idea of Terminus in the side just in case. Worst comes to worst I can hard cast him.

With garruk, I just need him. With green sun gone he is my only creature fetch. also immune to board wipes against control.

Sigarda in the side is not a bad idea but I'll hve to see how my meta plays out in the shop.

Thanks for the comments.

hay man i just played like 12 games with this. im thinking about adding some champion of lambholt just cause that chick beats, also the m13 gurakk. the rogues passage was a brilliant insight, i never thought of that to prevent stalemates. But i think Populate is fudging to strong to ignore, certainly need to run some kind of populate cards. Rootborn Defenses is a good populate card as well as growing ranks.

any ways, thanks for the deck to test out with. good luck brother!

card:Trostani, Selesnya's Voice I think is the answer you are looking for. I think I will use her but her in the SB for the fast matches she is cheap has a good defense and but load of life gain with Thragtusk coming in and out. Not to mention token generation
