This deck originaly started as a challenger deck "Flash of Ferocity" which I bought during lockdown. Quickly I started researching cards in an atempt to improve the deck. Many months later and the addition off black I have arrived at this current decklist. Its probably not the best control deck you ever play, but I do enjoy it every time. I hope you guys enjoy it aswell. If you like the deck please do upvote it and if you have any kind of recommendation(s) do let me know in the comments!

Lets run down the cards and what their function is in the deck.

Creatures:

• Ice-Fang Coatl is a great defensive creature because of the possibility of having deathtouch and it instantly replaces itself with a new card when it etb's. It is also a good card to exile for Force of Negation.
• Snapcaster Mage's job is pretty obvious, reuse the cards we already played. This can be countermagic, carddraw or a nice foour mana to cast Fatal Push twice in the same turn.
• Brazen Borrower can gain us some tempo by sending back hard to deal witb threats and countering them following turn when they are replayed
• Subtlety is a decent 3/3 flying body than can cause some good damage. It gets around all creatures that can't be countered and basically sets your openent back one turn by making them draw a card they already had in their hand.

Spells:

• Consider prevents you from drawing a card you don't need. Also, in the event of surveiling, lets say Cryptic Command on turn one you can decide to put it in the graveyard and you'll still be able to access it with Snapcaster Mage.
• Fatal Push is a great value card. For one mana it can kill a creature with cmc 2, but when you combine it with a fetchland it can hit a creature with cmc 4.
• Drown in the Loch its versatility in being a counterspell aswell as spotremoval makes it a solid addition, we don't run four copies because it cna be a bit clunky the first turns when the opponents graveyard is empty.
• Counterspell doesn't really need an explanation, its just great.
• Assassin's Trophy can hit any permanent on the field. This makes it very versatile and almost always a good draw. It can even destroy lands when playing vs Tron.
• Archmage's Charm is an extermly versatile tool. You dont need to counter something? Just dig for the cards you want with the carddraw. Does you oponent have an annoying creature that bothers you? Good its now yours.
• Crymptic Command can be a real powerhouse, all of its modes are good. Using it to bounce Snapcaster Mage back to your own hand in order to reuse Cryptic Command is one of my favorites

Sideboard:

• Consume the Meek not to sure about this card. One of the only board wipes that can be played at instant speed in BUG colors.
• Vendilion Clique is also great against the typical control decks, brazen borrower is not going the give you alot of value with its bounce effect in the early game which makes it rather expensive. Being able to control/know what is in your oponents hand allows you to creat a safe space for you own threats.
• Surgical Extraction is great against most combo decks if you are able to counter a certain combo piece and then take out every other copy of that card.
• Dress Down can get you out of nasty situation when you are, for example, facing creatures with protection from blue.
• Force of Negation a free counterspell can never be bad, I like to sideboard it in in matchups against decks that also play counterspells.
• Force of Vigor a very powerfull card that can be cast for free to destroy upto two targets. Good stuff.
• Endurance free graveyard hate, me likey.

Maybe

• Torrential Gearhulk is basically a really buff Snapcaster Mage which makes a big threat. Playing this and casting Cryptic Command with it guarentees a big swing on your next turn.
