that makes a lot more sense Although without the shock lands I'm not sure how the mana base willhold up perhaps some Evolving Wilds to help mana fix?
btw love the idea of bellringer into morbid triggered high priest, or sac'ing demon to disciple for massive card advantage. Perhaps some counter spells in side board for control matchups is the only thing would suggest. Chromatic lantern does help the mana though so maybe the mana base will be fine.
instead of Oblivion Ring i would run Detention Sphere because it dose the same thing for a tad bit harder casting cost but on the up side you could wipe the board with it if there playing tokens of the same name. almost no downside other then the mana base to cast it. even if there not playing tokens you "could" 2 for 1 creatures.
Love the deck. I'd like to make something similar only a bit more control like. +1
against heavy aggro you seem to struggle a bit. i love Syncopate though. it seems that a board wipe is needed (at least sided) to deal with the aggro heavy meta. other than that not bad.
Did some brief testing against zombies last night which is the aggro meta I am most worried about and did pretty well. I can out aggro aggro. Several board states were if I am left to do my own bidding it just gets ugly real quick. Turn 4 has the potential of having 13 power flying sac engine one the board. This is still a work in progress and the sideboard is undecided. Rest in Peace is the only card I know is going in the side.
It's pretty safe to say this deck wrecks zombies after some more play testing tonight. Kinda worried about the control match up at this point and think I'm going to take the suggestion of making my sb more control.
The deck I played against deck:sigardas-army-post-rotation you just couldn't win against it set up before you could get anything going. If i landed a Collective Blessing or a silverheart you would lose
