Normally the Colossus can come out for free (or close to it) by turn 5, sometimes 4 with the Hedron Archive. The deck builds to a big turn 5 attack.

Ideal Turns for a turn 4 Colossus

1. Play land. No 1-drops, no turn 1. RIP

2. Land and Puzzleknot, Prism, or Fireweaver

3. Land and Foundry Inspector

4. Land, then this is where things get fun. If you can, play another Inspector (for 2 because of the one already out). Drop puzzleknots and prisms for free. Play a Hedron Archive with your remaining 2 mana, then immediately tap to play another. Depending what other artifacts are out, Metalwork Colossus is likely free or pretty close to it.

Fling using Colossus. Enough said.
