Sideboard

Hey guys, I'm determined to make dinos a T1 deck and this is one of 3 dino decks I've made so far. I had a lot of luck with the classic R/G ramp shell from Ixalan, and RIX should hopefully make this deck T1.5 (lol). The main piece of advice I'm looking for is how I can better utilize RIX cards to increase the consistency and legality of this Spike-Timmy wet dream. If you have any ideas on how you might make this deck better, please comment! The sideboard needs some explaining. Heroic intervention and Verdant rebirth are the most important cards in the sideboard, especially with slaughter the strong and other dino-hate cards being prevalent in standard, it's absolutely necessary to protect your dinos against nasty white removal. Hour of devastation is in here for a few reasons. First off, how are you going to deal with Hazoret with Red and Green? Going bigger isn't always a sufficient answer. Therefore, HOU is super effective at mopping up mono red decks while also allowing you to activate your dinosaurs enrage triggers. Assuming you get a single savage stomp and a ripjaw raptor, a few of your creatures will survive and you'll benefit! Rampaging Ferocidon is for token/wide decks like Abzan tokens or Mono white vamps. Chandra is in here almost only because there's rarely a bad reason to run her. Against mono red or temur, she can give you that extra mana that you need to get the edge, distract from your life total, and win you the game. I thought about putting in Vance's Blasting Cannons because I had used it in the past, but I got rid of it after I realized it would be close to impossible to ever flip it. Prowling Serpopard is sadly a staple of this deck which will get throttled by control without it.

For the main deck, your best hand would be 3 lands, commune with dinos, and a drover of the mighty/otepec huntmaster, and a low drop dino like ripjaw raptor. Use drover to speed up your ramp race and hopefully put out a 4 drop on turn 3. Anything after this is more or less just filler to play Ghalta. If you get ghalta on the field it will be quite hard to lose, assuming you can give it haste.

That being said, the whole point is to ramp up as much mana as possible to play the obnoxiously large creatures that make up the latter half of the deck. It's more or less self-explanatory, but I'd be happy to clarify any questions you might have in the comments.

Forgive me for disabling the card validation, Reckless Rage hasn't been put in the database yet.
