Sideboard

This originally started out as a mono black rat discard deck but it wasn't so original as there are a few of those around. Now it includes cats and dogs, who says they can't get along? See this video for proof caught on camera here!

Looking for ideas on how this can be improved. I've not been playing MTG that long and Modern is all new to me so there are probably a ton of cards I don't know about.

About some of the cards: The reason I have three Shrieking Affliction, two Liliana's Caress and only one Quest for the Nihil Stone is that's the order that have been useful for me in. In the future I may get rid of the quest and just add another Caress.

Tragic slip tends to end up working nicely when the Black Cats need to chump to get the best effect from them anyway and there's Terminate for further removal. Should I swap for Dreadbore when I can get some?

I love Blightning and throwing out that after Liliana's Caress really hurts. That and Shrieking Affliction/Quest for the Nihil Stone are there main win condition with the creatures getting a bit of damage in too. Ensnaring Bridge has really helped slow people down as my hand empties quickly. Do you think I need some card draw?

The sideboard cards are mainly to go against people that I play against but better ideas are more than welcome. Nyxahid helps with much quicker beatdown if needed. If I don't need the creature control then the Ensnaring Bridges can be switched out. The decks I tend to play against are fast aggro goblins, elves with lots of ramping and vengevines, treefolk on a similar vein. There's also some combo decks that as you would imagine, this deck does quite well against. Any suggestions on how I could do better against these?

Any help really appreciated!

I played a Modern night and came 6th out of 10 people. The first game I got was against a green ramping deck and it got powerful before I could get anything out so I lost 0-2. The second game was some kind of Orzhov extort and lifegain deck. I did pretty well and won 2-0, getting al lot of discarding done and using Blightning with Liliana's Caress for a lot of damage. The third game I lost 1-2 against some kind of combo token deck with Voice of Resurgence in it. There were so many creatures and the game I won was by using Ensnaring Bridge to keep them at bay whilst I did damage with spells and enchantments. The fourth game was against a Dimir mill deck and I won 2-0 fairly easily, even when on the second game I sided in 3 x Elixir of Immortality and he milled them all.

So all in all not bad and really fun to play. It could really do with some speeding up. Thanks ShaOnRespawn you are right, I think the 'come's into play tapped' lands need to go. Also sounds good about the Black Cat going but then the deck would lose it's name! I may come back to this one day as I still really like the idea of red/black discard but for now I'm taking the good points from this and I've made a new deck called What's Lurking Under the Bridge?
