When I first became interested in Magic, I bought booster boxes from each set in the Ixalan block with an interest in building decks around dinosaurs and merfolk. I happened to open an Angrath and decided to build a pirate deck around him for fun because I had all these black and red cards I wasn't using. I started using the pirates deck to test against my other decks, and it kept winning. I have since put a little more focus on this deck, adding and subtracting pieces to hopefully make it stronger.

This deck is wildly inconsistent on the draw, but you rarely draw a card you aren't happy to have access to. Drawing cards is kind of like digging for treasure (anyone?).
