Ah, the old days of Esper Familiar!

A deck that lived in infamy, its enemies were bestowed with hatred during its existence and rained with happiness when it was killed.

But, the benevolent lords of WOTC have brought it back to us, giving us Peregrine Drake, being a more expensive way to combo out than cloud of fairies, but it has the advantage of being able to double and triple dip with familiars, making you generate even more free mana. Generally, this doesn't allow you to combo out much earlier, but it works, and might actually make Esper Familiar a fair deck, which would protect it from the banhammer.

The maybeboard is another card that WOTC gave us, which can replace the nightscape familiar and black if we have to, but black is very good for sideboard, so that's why it's just a maybe.
