This deck is part of a US$10.00 budget format. This budget encompasses the mainboard and the sideboard (everything but traditional basic lands), so it makes for a very interesting deckbuilding challenge.

This deck is classic mono black control. The goal is to shred your opponents hand, kill their threats, and then casually kill them while they're defenseless.

There are a couple one-ofs because they're (relatively) expensive, but they're very potent cards. Vampire Nighthawk and Raven's Crime are amazing. I'd put more of each in if I had the budget for it.
