Why? Because Dragons and combos are awesome!

This is basically a quick mana deck to play either a Dragonstorm or an early Scourge of Valkas. The reason we play scourge over the classic hellkite is that:

1. It's a lot easier to cast
2. It has firebreathing
3. It still combos with dragonstorm

You'll typically go off on turn 4 or 5 with a combination of Lotus Bloom and Vessel of Volatility. If you can't find a dragon storm or generate enough mana, casting early dragons and beating face is also a good strategy.

Useful Storm Combos:

Storm 1

Karrthus + Kolaghan = 12 double strike with haste (24 dmg).

Karrthus + Atarka = 13 double strike with haste (26 dmg).

Storm 2

2 Scourges + Kolaghan = 11 ping, 14 swing. (25 dmg)

2 Scourges + Karrthus = 11 ping, 15 swing. (26 dmg).

Karrthus + Atarka + T Kite = 18 double strike with haste, almost unblockable (36 dmg).

Storm 3

3 Scourges + Karrthus = 26 ping, 19 swing (45 dmg).

3 Scourges + B Kite = 31 ping.

Scourge + Karrthus + Atarka + T Kite = 10 ping, 22 double strike with haste, almost unblockable (Can kill under Leyline of Sanctity, 54 dmg).

4 Scourges = 30 ping.

2 Scourges + B Kite + Karrthus = 24 ping, 20 swing with haste. (Can kill under Leyline of Sanctity, 44 dmg).

Storm 4

4 Scourges + Karrthus = 55 ping, 23 swing (78 damage).

Don't be afraid to crack Vessel of Volatility or Lotus Bloom to hard cast dragons. The dragons can serve as a decent clock by themselves and can be blockers if you need it.

Post sideboard, the deck can function as a straight up big red dragon beatdown deck. Even though it seems simple, it can be surprisingly hard for a lot of decks to deal with.
