Sideboard

To all merfolk fans and lovers, I present a decklist I can proudly say can be a competitive deck in this current meta of crazy mono red decks and a deck that can annoy most control players. In the current meta it holds up against a fair amount of control decks wether its, grixis, blue-black midrange, blue-white control or any type of control because of all the low drop creatures that flood the board.

Now an obvious problem with the deck is that the mana base only runs 19 land so it can run into problems reaching that fourth land. As of now the only way I could deal with that was to use a bunch of one-drop tricks to stall the board state till we can get our land drops, which usually does happen more often than nought.

To conclude, I think that in the current meta this deck can very much hold its own against its other competitive brethren and can even out aggro some of the fastest decks in the meta. The great part about this deck is that no one is going to expect to see a tribe that hasn't been in the main stream competitive meta game.

If you have any suggestions or comments about the deck please leave a comment, I am always looking to improve my decks and appreciate any criticism people have. If you like the deck please give the deck an upvote and lets try and get standard merfolk as the feature deck!
