Karn was the inspiration for this deck. He fits wonderfully into so many types of decks, but I wanted to make something that would showcase him in particular. As I was looking for ways to increase Karn's utility, it occurred to me that he exists primarily as a control device. I came to the conclusion that I could make it into a creature by using Liquimetal Coating and March of the Machines. Ok, so what next? Well, if I'm animating artifacts, Akroma's Memorial is a natural fit. The rest of the deck was crafted around those interactions.

UPDATE 11/20/11: Redid the deck top to bottom. Most of the core ideas stayed, but this plays really smoothly in playtests.
