Get Champion of the Parish out first turn, Gather the Townsfolk then Silverblade Paladin for a 4/4 double striker on turn 3. Mentor of the Meek provides a nice draw engine so the deck doesn't immediately run out of steam and scoring two extra cards from a Gather the Townsfolk is righteous.
Cloudshift is for utility and combo potential. A Fiend Hunter that gets bounced immediately before the enter the battlefield ability resolves on a target creature will come back to lock down another creature and permanently exile the target from the first ability.
Zealous Conscripts also works with Cloudshift to either flicker the conscripts for a second stolen permanent for the turn or instead Cloudshift the stolen permanent so it stays under my control. The Cloudshift effect can also work for setting new soulbound targets, blocking and combat tricks, resetting Riders of Gavony, drawing more cards with Mentor of the Meek, all while simultaneously pumping Champion of the Parish.
Bonfire of the Damned utilizes the mana that gets accumulated if the match draws on too long and topdecks into a late-game win condition.
