Love quickly ramping, pulling out big things or making things big, then swinging. Built this deck around Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Rhonas the Indomitable predominately, since high power helps them both.

Steel Leaf Champion is a very consistent activator for both, being a 5\4. Nissa, Vital Force's +1 ability (5\5 Land Elementals) does the same, as well as being nasty all by itself. Multiple Mana dorks help with ramp and the deck stabilizes on a mana pool of just five. The counters generated by Rishkar, Peema Renegade, Verdurous Gearhulk and even [Enter the Unknown] helps bump for activation of the two biggest baddies, mana generation (Rishkar's ability) and even keeping mana dorks alive if need be. I can pump or save creatures with Rhonas's Monument, Larger Than Life and Blossoming Defense and even Rhonas the Indomitable himself. Finally, Life Goes On and Deathgorge Scavenger help me survive faster aggro decks with a little life gain buffer. Finally, my sideboard has answers for enchantments, artifacts and flyers.

My husband plays Mono-Red Hazoret the Fervent and my deck wins pretty consistently, even against his speed and direct damage. Before I take this to FNM I want to replace a Rishkar, Peema Renegade with a fourth Steel Leaf Champion.
