TURN 6-7 WINS: SLOW, BUT RELIABLE

Initially, I wanted to construct a combo deck with Sidisi, Undead Vizier, but in my eyes she's outclassed by Maralen of the Mornsong. After that, I thought up four abusable combos that Maralen would guarantee every time. While the combos go off thanks to Maralen, the deck is highly vulnerable to kills counters, and agro, so this is mostly a deep deck that might win if people are generous. Anyway, story time over; combo time!

THE MAIN STRATEGY: Turns one and two are unimportant so far, but this is a prototype so tips are always welcome. My plan for them is to just drop Shadowborn Apostles or mana boosters. Turn three, you drop Maralen. Turn four you search for and cast Dark Ritual, then ensure you have about three Shadowborn Apostles. Turn five you find and cast Thrumming Stone. Turn six is where things kick in. Find a Gray Merchant of Asphodel, drop a Dark Ritual, then drop an apostle. This will ripple through a lot of guys hopefully (we're hoping for at least 40-45). The extra mana means you can drop an extra two apostles if the first fails to ripple through everything. Once you have as many apostles out as possible immediately drop the Grey merchant and drain everyone for 45-50 or so HP. Proceed to either win or make the game reeaaallly interesting. :)

NO ONE WINS: If the game is going badly due to agro or something, this is a bit of a sour grapes attitude that kills everyone, including you. Turn one, two, and three are the same as previously mentioned. Turn four, however, you drop a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. Turn five find and drop a thrumming stone. Turn six is the key turn. Find (but don't cast!) a [[crypt rats, cast an apostle to ripple, and hope you get a lot. Then spend two mana in Nyx, add hella black mana to your pool, and kill everyone with the rat's 'X' ability. (If you feel it necessary, you can wait till the next turn and cast an apostle and then activate the 'X', but by then you're probably a huge target). Definitely a sour approach to the game, but if you can't win, might as well take everyone with you.

ALL THE ELDRAZI: This is the strategy to actually use the apostle's ability. Turn one, two, three, and four are the same as the sour-grapes approach. Turn five find and drop a Conspiracy naming 'demon'. Turn six find a Dark Ritual, and drop all but one apostle. Turn seven is where things kick in. Find and drop a Thrumming Stone, then drop the ritual (four mana left in the pool). Drop an apostle, ripple through at least twenty, sac six (two mana left), and grab the now 'demon' Spawnsire of Ulamog. Spend the remaining two mana to activate nyx, add (hopefully) twenty mana at minimum, activate the spawnsire's ability, and drop hella ELDRAZI in your opponent's ass.

CHEATING FATTIES: Turns one, two, and three are the same as the eldrazi strategy. Turn four you find Dark Ritual. Turn five find and drop Conspiracy and name demon. Turn six drop Thrumming Stone and the ritual. Cast up to two apostles, then sac six to tutor a fattie. Ob Nixilis, Unshackled will dish out damage when they are forced to search their library every turn, but I prefer to drop It That Betrays or a Blightsteel Colossus

Of course, I need help figuring out what else to put in the deck without diminishing the effect of the Thrumming Stone, because it can be taken out easily by counters and kills. All advice is very welcome! Thanks for reading.
