The Basic Idea

Looking through the cards I have available, I put this deck together. The deck is trying to gain control through preventing the other player to lay down intricate plans, and by making the powerful cards available to you multiple times.

This is broken down into a few different strategies:

-Make the graveyard a recycling bin instead of a pile of useless cards

-Many cards in this deck restore creatures from the graveyard for one cost or another.

-Lands like Mystic Sanctuary or Witch's Cottage . The former brings back all of your instants and sorceries, but unfortunately is an 'When card enters the battlefield' and the latter brings back creatures in the same manner.

- Order of Midnight 's adventure brings cards back your hand, and Forever Young lets you restore even more to your library (hopefully the deck gets shuffled by another card but you may have to be cautious with this.

- Command the Dreadhorde lets you get the more powerful creatures back into play. I put this in because some of the creature's abilities are important and you can restore them. An example would be if [[]] was removed to the graveyard.

-Create token creatures and make them threats

- Piper of the Swarm will create lots of rat tokens, which can be either used to gain life or strengthened through the instant Unlikely Aid . Perhaps I should add cards with proliferate, which would work well with Blightbeetle

- Aven Eternal creates zombie army tokens. I have tons of cards that would work with this but they are not very good. Maybe I should remove these and ditch this aspect of the deck.

-Draw lots of cards -Creature abilities like Overwhelmed Apprentice and Foulmire Knight allow you to draw additional cards early on creating opportunity. Later in the game [[]] will allow you to draw cards when you lose life. This is combined with many cards that take life or give life thus generating a recurring draw setup
