Ceratok Rampage (Casual MTG Deck)

Gyre Sage is a two-drop that adds more mana bigger it gets when Kalonian Tusker, Renegade Krasis, Crowned Ceratok and ultimately Vastwood Hydra enter the battlefield. With the mana ability Gyre Sage provides, I can make Vastwood Hydra huge by turn five.

Crowned Ceratok is the heart of this deck. It gives all of my creatures with counters on them Trample. Combined with Alpha Authority for hexproof and limited blocking and Forced Adaptation, things can get nuts quick!

The deck caps off at 5 mana with Ridgescale Tusker which gives all my creatures a +1/+1 counter when it ETB.

Savage Stomp is just a better Hunt the Weak because it's one mana cheaper. Plus, with everyone wanting to trample, I feel as though Savage Stomp just goes with the flavor. :P

As for the sideboard, Prowling Serpopard is for the control decks. Crushing Canopy is for enchantments and for fliers. Bramblecrush is to eliminate planeswalkers. Give makes a creature bigger with 3 +1/+1 counters. Trollhide is primarily here for its regeneration effect but the added +2/+2 doesn't hurt either. Bioshift allows me to switch counters around to deliver the devastating blow I need to win!

After playing with the deck for a while, I've discovered that while Common Bond is a nice instant-speed, combat trick it just wasn't doing much for me. Using Alpha Authority to make a creature hexproof and then enchanting it with Forced Adaptation has worked more favorably, especially in making a creature huge in just a few turns. A Kalonian Tusker can become quite an even bigger contender in just a few turns. Rogue's Passage is also very useful in getting that big creature through without having to worry about blocks.

Bramblecrush is for those pesky planeswalkers. I've had to deal with a few of those.
