The goal of this deck is to use Eldritch evolution on undying creatures to put out a specific threat or utility creature.

2 drops + evolution:

1. Skinrender for spot removal
2. Murderous Redcap for burn
3. Creakwood Liege as a runaway threat

The main evolution choice for Geralf's Messenger, the only three drop, is gray merchant as it will hopefully cause at least 7 life loss and gain 5. Bloodgift Demon may be helpful for card draw though I haven't really tested it.

Gleancrawler is the top end of the evolution options. Playing one off a Gray Merchant of Asphodel can be devastating allowing the gray merchant trigger to come back end of turn.

With so many ETB effects Strionic Resonator does a lot work. One generally game ending combo involves sac'ing a messenger to evolution into a gray merchant then copying gray merchant's trigger. This requires 3GG, causes 12 life loss and 10 gained (assuming no other black symbols).

The mana base is still iffy. It's fairly difficult to reliably get a GG two drop followed by a geralf's messenger. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This deck is extremely vulnerable to counterspells, to sideboard against this I'd imagine more hand control and possibly Guttural Response
