B/W Tokens for Standard.

The main objective is to play out as many tokens as possible and pump them with your anthem's (Spear, Hall, Spoils and Dictate). Sorin is there as support, the lifegain he provides can be exceptional and it can also prevent alpha strikes by opponents, it is common for Triplicate spirits to be 3 5/5's for 6cmc which is handy.

Thoughtseize M/B is there to allow you to remove the problem spells (mainly, drown in sorrow and other similar sweepers), and e brain maggots S/B allow you to do the same but also play a potential threat.

Elspeth was originally in the deck as a 3 of, however I often found when I had 6 mana up I would rather cast 2 other spells (raise the alarm and a pump), or hard cast trip spirits. But I may be wrong about this and she might be the right thing to have in the deck, te main issue is her -3 will often just wipe your own board.

4-0'd a Thursday Night event using this deck, obviously a couple of days before pre-release so that meant it was a smaller field than usual but the deck still stacked well against 3 popular archetypes.

Match 1 - Jeskai Tokens. 2-1

Plenty of back and forth between the 2 token generators Ended up with losing game 1 to a pair of rabble masters then taking the next two games thanks to some beefy Triplicate Spirits and an epic few turns with Brimaz dominating proceedings (safely out of Stoke range thanks to the Dictate and Hall!) Match 2 and 3 was basically Cats vs Goblins, good stuff!

Match 2 - B/W Constellation. 2-0

2 fairly quick games, Despite multiple Brain Maggots from the opposition Triplicate Spirits and chums managed to work the beatdown.

Match 3 - B/G Constellation/Devotion - 2-1

Match 1 was an easy win due to the opponent mulliganing to 4 and not hitting a land until turn 2. MAtch 2 was a one sided hornet queen beat down and match 3 ended with Triplicate Spirits going over the top and a flashed in dictate leading to the last 12 points being dealt by 3 fliers fairly rapidly.

Match 4 - Mardu Tokens - 2-0

Game 1 was won off the back of a Seeker of the Way providing a hefty hefty beatdown against multiple Butcher of the Hordes, very swingy race with mega lifegain on both sides. Game 2 was Seeker, Spirits and Soldiers providing another rapid beatdown for a 4-0 in matches and 8-2 in games.

Overall happy with the performance and it was this that led to me dropping the Elspeth's, she was oftentimes in my hand alongside a Dictate or Trip Spirts and I would usually just want to flash in the Dictate over drop the Big E.

Sorin was as expected, epic in this deck.+1/+0 and Lifelink is fantastic on the evasive Spirits, and to be fair, on Brimaz!
