After looking at some Dragon Tribal decks, I've decided to try my hand at one.
I'd like some tips on improving the deck, I've always loved dragons, and I've never tried R/G before.
So without further ado:
Arbor Elf - For ramp... What did you expect? He can also untap
Stomping Ground
, which is a nice plus.
Atarka, World Render - A 6/4 body that gives all of my dragons double strike for 7 mana! :D
Balefire Dragon - Creatures get in the way. He gets rid of them for me >:D
Courser of Kruphix - Sure, it lets my opponent know that I have a Balefire Dragon in my hand, but what are they gonna do about it when I get it out turn 4? Also lifegain from Sakura-Tribe Elder's ability!
Dragon Broodmother - Gives me many little dragons to attack/defend with. Killer combo with Utvara Hellkite.
Dragonmaster Outcast - For the longer games. He has secured me many victories, so he is now a special part of this mainboard! :D
Harmonize - For when I start top-decking.
Lightning Greaves - Giving my dorks hexproof and haste so they can get a dragon out which will also have hexproof and haste. Nobody is happy when you play a Balefire Dragon and attack with it on the same turn.
Sakura-Tribe Elder - MORE LANDS! He also doubles as a chump blocker. ;)
Sarkhan Vol - Gives my dragons a boost and haste, can take over an opponents threat in a pinch, and he gives me a ton of dragons if I pull his ultimate off, benefiting Scourge of Valkas and Utvara Hellkite.
Scourge of Valkas - Targeted burn plus a +1/+0 for R effect. All in all, a very powerful card!
Somberwald Sage - I want mana, dammit.
Utopia Sprawl - Fantastic synergy with Arbor Elf and Garruk Wildspeaker. The more mana at my disposal, the better!
Utvara Hellkite - Gives me more dragons. If I get this guy out, its pretty much gg.
