Nine-Fingers Keene feels like a 99 card in a gates deck. If you're playing gates, gut feeling is that you still want to stay 5 colour as if you're playing agtes then let's face it, you're playing Maze's End. So you want to optimise around being able to hit 10 different gates.

With the banning of Golos, Tireless Pilgrim (who was the go-to gate commander), you're probably looking at something like:

• Kenrith, the Returned King for generic utility

• Go-Shintai of Life's Origin shrines + gates feels like it could work, maybe

• Kyodai, Soul of Kamigawa to protect Maze's End and give you a backup win con

• Sliver Queen as a good defensive commander since she pumps out tokens (and you can devote more cards to land tutoring at that point)

I don't actually like Child of Alara as a commander here as well. You'll have a lot of permaenet based utility that you'r relying on and as much as it's a bit cute having a wrath in the command zone, you're not playing a traditional lands.dec control deck.

KBK7101 I did think of Kyodai, Soul of Kamigawa as the commander, for the protection Kokusho, the Evening Star probably be the biggest protection target (I don't think i need explain why), since O-Kagchi's effect doesn't help them but since he is also dragon spirit he has synergy with the Star and Sky dragons so it truly between the two nither one is wrong. As for the rest of the options they are all good but there so not not enough room for most unless i take some reanimation (which i could do i guess) if the OG's are destroyed the whole system comes crashing down (even if they are 10 of) so have a decent amount of recursion is must im also trying to figure out good why to protect against exilie

I love this deck! I've been looking for a five color deck to represent Kamigawa and I think this is what I've been looking for. Thoughts on Kyodai, Soul of Kamigawa as an alternate commander? It didn't seem to synergize well at first until I realized that she could be used as protection for your clone target.

Some more clone cards that may interest you (if you haven't considered them already):

• Mirror Mockery, Saheeli Rai, Phantasmal Image, Cabaretti Confluence, Twinflame, Croaking Counterpart, Sakashima's Will and Strionic Resonator (for copying death triggers) Dictate of Erebos (for benefitting from said death triggers)

I think the mana base needs tweaking some and you could probably work on lowering the mana curve somehow, though I'm not too sure on how best to go about that.

Gingervitis the deck has been performing like I said it probably would, especially with the new changes I made. It's been pretty average but has been a blast to play, especially with multiple The Meathook Massacres and Tiamats because of Mirror Box. I like your Kyodai, Soul of Kamigawa idea but am unsure what to take out for it.

How does this deck perform in the Neon Dynasty meta? It looks very interesting and I was hoping to build something like this.

I'm curious, has Kyodai, Soul of Kamigawa crossed your mind? It's another 5-color card that can make something indestructible upon entry, which seems really nice. Just a thought.
