Maybeboard

The idea of this deck is to ramp into multiple win conditions, either Blightsterl Colossus, Platinum Emperion and Platinum Angel which create a control lock that, against decks that can't interact with yours, makes it impossible for them to win, and Wurmcoil Engine. These can all be tutored by Fabricate and Tinker and cheated in. In a hand that is incapable of cheating in creatures, the deck is able to stall until those are playable.

Generally, in an amazing hand you want at least 1 Seat of the Synod or an Island to play, which provides the blue mana that is super essencial in this deck. Also it is extremely helpful that you have a threat in your hand already.Hands to mulligan: Any hand that contains a spell requiring blue mana and DOES NOT have either Seat of the Synod or an Island in it. Hands with no threats CAN be kept, but most preferably if you have a playable Tinker which can bring the game immediately into your favor, or a fabricate which would allow you to at least get on track of the game.

Matchups:Life gain: Life gain decks are actually not the most difficult deck in the world to play against, due to their lack of interaction with you. They tend to have a focus on making an insanely high life total so cards that would remove or directly interfere with your game plan would be uncommon, and if they do have something like a Path to Exile up their sleeve, consider that they just filled a slot that could have been a life gaining card with removal. Yes, to five them credit, life gain decks are extremely irritating. But this deck is flexible. Tinker for Blightsteel Colossus and that should be enough. Burn: Burn is a deck that is very possible to win against, but on a fast hand. Hands that have cards that can cheat things in but nothing to actually cheat in is a deck hand to mulligan. Get platinum emperiumout asap is first priority then beating their face in with Wurmcoil engine.

Ramp: As a side note, when I say ramp I mean any deck with a focus of playing big creatures efficiently through things such as mana dorks. As the easiest example of this I will use a Mono Green Ramp deck that plays threats anywhere in the range of Primeval Titan to Worldspine Wurm. These decks are quite annoying because they have a tendancy to be quite more consistant while meeting your tempo of your onslaught of creatures with their own. You just need to do your best to race them in order to win.

Because who doesn't want a turn 3 Blightsteel Colossus?
