Must Haves In 5 Color EDH Decks

For those of you running 5 color commanders, what are the must haves for mana fixing?

I know there are the gates and dual colored bounce lands, as well as the shards triple color lands, but those can be slow due to coming into play tapped.

Sol Ring and Command Tower are obvious go to's as well, and it is nice to see Command Tower coming down in price as of late.

Chromatic Lantern I know of too and is a nice boost.

What else you got?

I prefer Sol Ring , Mana Crypt , the ten signets, the five talismans, Coldsteel Heart , Star Compass , and any other color fixing 2-drop rocks I have forgotten when it comes to rocks. If you're playing a big stuff strategy, then Gilded Lotus is another good color fixer. I also like Khalni Gem and Astral Cornucopia too.

As for lands, City of Brass , Tarnished Citadel , Cavern of Souls , Command Tower , Reflecting Pool , Forbidden Orchard , Exotic Orchard , the painlands, the shocklands, the filterlands, and the last four future sight pre-prints are nice because they don't have to come into play tapped. If you have fetchlands available, then checklands are actually okay. If you have ABUR lands, those should be the first ones to go in the deck.

If I had as much money as I wanted (which I don't; the struggle is real), I'd aim to get ten ABUR lands, ten shocklands, ten filterlands, and those seven cards I mentioned earlier. If I had to go budget, I'd get ten Karoo lands, as many temples and gates and check lands and shocklands and refuge lands and triplelands and those seven cards as I can, and two to three of each basic.

@MagicalHacker: Be careful about how many of your lands enter the battlefield tapped. While it's alright to have a few slow lands, you don't want to overburden your deck and cripple your tempo.

Right, with the budget idea, it would have to have at least 50% cards that don't have to come into play tapped (count checklands as tapped and shocklands as untapped), but I don't usually build budget and just proxy the final version. (Then I trade for the cards over time.)

Found some new ideas for my Sliver EDH deck. Thanks guys! I agree with Epochalyptik, the enter the field tapped lands are nice but they tend to slow things down a little too much for my liking.

Also, if you like Mycosynth Lattice and Chromatic Lantern , then you might like Joiner Adept , Prismatic Omen , and Celestial Dawn .

Yeah, I was just afraid that if I said you couldn't have any tapped lands, I would come off as a jerk who expects everyone who plays magic to be able to buy lots of expensive cards...
