It's pretty obvious what we're about to do here: play unfairly. The goal is to use any number or combination of Irencrag Feat, Thran Temporal Gateway, Vessel of Volatility, Generator Servant, Ilharg, the Raze-Boar, or Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded to get out some fatties sooner than we should be allowed.

Here are a few examples of a good opening:

• turn 1 land, turn 2 land + Generator Servant, turn 3 land + crack Generator Servant and play Ilharg, the Raze-Boar, then swing and put down some fat boi tapped and attacking. (this could also work with Vessel of Volatility, but then Ilharg doesn't have haste.

• turn 1 land, turn 2 land +Vessel of Volatility or Generator Servant, turn 3 land > crack the vessel or servant > tap your lands (you have 5 mana floating) > cast Irencrag Feat (you now have 8 mana floating), cast Thran Temporal Gateway as your last spell for turn > with your remaining 4 mana activate the gateway to place a fat boi on the battlefield.

• turn 1 land and Skirk Prospector, turn 2 land and Guild Globe, turn three land, crack the prospector, cast Irencrag Feat crack the globe for the correct colors of mana to either cast Garruk, Apex Predator or Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh.

• turn 1 & 2 make land drops and cast Vessel of Volatility or Generator Servant or Skirk Prospector, turn 3 cast Irencrag Feat into any red fatty that costs up to 7 mana.

Combustible Gearhulk works great in this deck because we need to be able to refill our hand, and if the opponent does decide to take the damage it could be lethal or at least a lot of damage, as our deck has an abnormal amount of high CMC spells. It's also a historic spell so it can be cast off of Thran Temporal Gateway
