The Gruul aren’t satisfied with just smashing things. They continue smashing other things with the things they just smashed.

Other decks of the series:

Supreme Law (Azorius Guild Kit)

Veiled Secrecy (Dimir Guild Kit)

Gleeful Slaughter (Rakdos Guild Kit)

Ruinous Rampage (Gruul Guild Kit) — you are here

Harmonious Unity (Selesnya Guild Kit)

Eternal Debt (Orzhov Guild Kit)

Neverending Cycle (Golgari Guild Kit)

Unbound Evolution (Simic Guild Kit)

Explosive Science (Izzet Guild Kit)

Fiery Justice (Boros Guild Kit)

The original Guild Kits, while being a terrific idea, had a lot of questionable picks, but left out some in-guild cards that would really benefit the kit in question. Not to mention the lack of streamlining - just throwing together a bunch of guild cards doesn't make a synergistic deck, you have to be more selective. So I decided to make my own.

Gruul deck is pretty simple: smash, hasty smash, powered up smash. I feared I'd have more trouble building for a color combination I consider boring, but in the end it was the deck with smoothest creation process and one with least changes and cuts out of the ten, and for that simplicity I'm really grateful.

Alternate artwork nominations: Vengeful Rebirth could use some Gruul-specific art. And Frenzied Arynx's art somewhat bugs me, so I wouldn't mind a reimagining of it.

As always, I am more than happy to provide explanations for any card included (or excluded).
