• use Indomitable archangel's metalcraft to protect all artifacts by shrouding them

Unleash the big guys

• Sphinx of the Steel Wind (Lifelink, etc.)

• Filigree Angel (3 life for each artifact)

• attach Sunbond to the Sphinx

1) assume you have the Sphinx with Sunbond and 3 other artifacts (as you build on metalcraft)

2) you play Filigree Angel and gain 15 life points (5 x 3, use Liquimetal Coating to convert a creature or two into artifacts if needed or possible)

3) Shpinx gets 15x +1/+1 counters via Sunbond and attacks

4) you gain Sphinx's power in form of life points (lifelink) and put that amount of life points in form of +1/+1 counters on the Sphinx (Sunbond)

note: if you have Darksteel Myr + Pariah and Indomitable Archangel, you shouldn't be afraid to lose your biig guys since they benefit from shroud nor you should worry of losing them due to blocking damage since Pariah redirects the damage
