(the final scheme is for Drench the Soil in Their Blood which doesn't seem to be in tappedout's database)

I saw the "Horde Magic" variant but when I got some people together to play it, we just couldn't get into it. It felt like we were just punching a wall for no particular reason.

I felt it needed some crazy necromancer marching his zombies across the land and made a zombie token based archenemy deck. Parallel Lives mostly drove me to put it together. But thanks to some cool schemes like Ignite the Cloneforge!, Rotted Ones, Lay Siege, and The Very Soil Shall Shake it came to life.

The deck MOSTLY revolves around Parallel Lives and tokens but gets going with Endless Ranks of the Dead. Pretty standard combo yeah, but it's a TON of fun with Rotted Ones, Lay Siege. Basically every turn more zombies are appearing and hope dwindles quickly unless you can get rid of the enchantments or stop the zombies.

Players felt more rewarded for playing this than some 100 card deck of tokens since they felt they accomplished something when they won. If they didn't win, they still had fun because an ACTUAL zombie horde over ran them.

I'll admit that without Endless Ranks of the Dead, the deck doesn't do that much and you just have to rely on token producing cards you draw. There have been a few times I won with just The Very Soil Shall Shake, Strength of Night and a handful of zombies.

Another downside of the deck is the abundance of 4 and 5 cost things. Sometimes it is slow to get going unless you get the right schemes like Your Fate Is Thrice Sealed or Realms Befitting My Majesty.

Noxious Ghoul is actually a great creature lockout with Endless Ranks of the Dead.

Innocent Blood and Quest for the Gravelord has been quite the early game back breaker. 2 black mana for "each player sacs a creature, you get a 5/5 zombie giant token" is...pretty awesome. 2 tokens if you got Parallel Lives out.

Otherwise, everything should be pretty self-explanatory.
