Lightning Bolt One of the best staple removal spells in the format, lightning bolt kills most threats, or can burst three damage to the face if necessary
Lightning Helix Lightning bolt with lifegain. Helps keep us alive against aggressive decks
Path to Exile One of the best removal spells in the format, allows us to target creature threats that lightning bolt can't remove
Dreadbore Dreadbore allows us to remove planeswalker threats that managed to slip past thoughtseize. Can also be used to demolish creatures if necessary

Mutavault Mutavault is a strong manland that also triggers pack rat
swampyard swampyard helps us maintain control of our pack rats after they've hit the field. Protection against removal. it hits mutavault as well (they're both squirrels)
Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth Urborg turns our swampyards and mutavaults into black producing lands, crucial for casting many of our spells. The second Urborg can become fodder to Liliana of the Veil or Pack Rat
