MH2 Update —June 2, 2021

So we did get some nice new toys for this deck in MH2:

• Tireless Provisioner: there is a lot of hype around this card and I think it is with good reason. A Lotus Cobra with upsides deserves attention. It has to go in the deck for testing, but will probably stay there for a long time ;). Although it’s a hard cut, I’ve removed Nissa, Vastwood Seer  ^Flip for now to make room.
• Endurance: a high power graveyard hate card that can easily be tutored, while also presenting potential combat tricks. Will replace Scavenging Ooze which needs a lot more mana to get rid of the graveyard problems. Also has the upside of defending against mill decks.
• Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth: Going to test it instead of a forest. In this deck it will let Glacial ChasmGC, Dark Depths and Gaea's CradleGC tap for mana when they otherwise couldn't. Also fixes.
• And of course, Titania, Protector of Argoth is finally getting foil printings.

I’ve also made some other tweaks recently:

• I’ve added Rampant Growth instead of Retreat to Kazandu. I guess my talks with Profet93 have made me reconsider that include, and getting M&D in play turn 3 is probably more valuable. Also, Tireless Provisioner is a way better landfall card at the 3cmc slot, which makes the decision easier.
• I also experimented with some different removal options. I did not like Bane of Progress because you can accidentally hit it with Genesis Wave and wreck your own plan. Cards I’m testing now are Abrade and Collector Ouphe. Terastodon and Vandalblast took a break.
• Lastly, I’m going to test Bonders' Enclave instead of Temple of Abandon to see which one I like better.
